Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  2. 1–2 years of working experience with SAP BODS, particularly in data flow development, testing, and deployment.
  3. Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL database systems.
  4. Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  5. Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or similar.
  6. Working knowledge of Linux systems.
  7. Hands-on experience with Databricks including Unity Catalog and performance optimization.
  8. Familiarity with DBT, Airflow, and other transformation/orchestration tools.
  9. Solid understanding of data pipeline architecture, workflow orchestration, and data engineering best practices.
  10. Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker/Kubernetes (preferred).
  11. Experience working with RESTful APIs or Data as a Service models (preferred).
  12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services in addition to GCP.
  2. Background in working within agile teams or DevOps environments.
  3. Knowledge of data governance and security best practices in cloud data platforms.
