Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, databases, and data lake architectures. The ideal candidate will collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that enable reliable analytics and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaboration: Work closely with solution architects and stakeholders to design and deliver innovative, data-driven products.
2. Data Modeling: Design, implement, and optimize logical and physical data models to support analytical and operational needs.
3. SQL & Database Management: Develop efficient SQL queries, manage database performance, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
4. Data Lineage: Build and maintain end-to-end data lineage frameworks to track data flow and ensure quality and governance compliance.
5. Data Lake Development: Design, build, and optimize data lake architectures to handle large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
6. Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data processing pipelines for scalability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
2. Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
3. Hands-on experience with data modeling tools and methodologies.
4. Solid understanding of data lake and data warehouse architectures.
5. Experience with data lineage tools or metadata management frameworks.
6. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
