Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud with 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, and deep expertise in Databricks administration and Terraform. This is an onsite role based in Stockholm, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions to support modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the administration of Databricks workspaces, managing access controls, cluster policies, libraries, and environment configuration.
  2. Design, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  3. Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP, ensuring scalability, availability, and cost-efficiency.
  4. Work closely with data engineering and platform teams to automate deployments and enhance infrastructure reliability.
  5. Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes for critical infrastructure components.
  6. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data privacy standards.
  7. Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure and DevOps practices.
  8. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or cloud operations.
  2. Strong hands-on experience with Databricks – administration, workspace management, Unity Catalog (preferred).
  3. Expert in Terraform and best practices for Infrastructure as Code.
  4. Proficient with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  5. Solid understanding of networking, identity and access management (IAM), monitoring, and logging in cloud environments.
  6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
  7. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container orchestration technologies.
  2. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security automation.
  3. Experience with enterprise-level cloud migration or modernization projects.
