Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud with 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, and deep expertise in Databricks administration and Terraform. This is an onsite role based in Stockholm, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions to support modern data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the administration of Databricks workspaces, managing access controls, cluster policies, libraries, and environment configuration.
- Design, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP, ensuring scalability, availability, and cost-efficiency.
- Work closely with data engineering and platform teams to automate deployments and enhance infrastructure reliability.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes for critical infrastructure components.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data privacy standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or cloud operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks – administration, workspace management, Unity Catalog (preferred).
- Expert in Terraform and best practices for Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficient with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of networking, identity and access management (IAM), monitoring, and logging in cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security automation.
- Experience with enterprise-level cloud migration or modernization projects.

- Work Mode: Onsite in Stockholm (Hybrid may be considered)
