Senior Informatica Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in data integration, ETL design, and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and related tools to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter.
2. Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, and solution architecture for data integration projects.
3. Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
4. Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
5. Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to ETL jobs and data pipelines.
7. Document technical designs, ETL processes, and data flow diagrams.
8. Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in ETL and data management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 7+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter development and implementation.
2. Strong experience in ETL design, development, and support.
3. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar).
4. Experience with Informatica Cloud, Data Quality, or MDM is a plus.
5. Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema, Fact and Dimension tables).
6. Understanding of performance tuning and optimization for ETL workflows.
7. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) is a plus.
2. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
3. Familiarity with Data Governance and Data Lineage tools.
