We are seeking an experienced SAP FSPM Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Policy Management (FS-PM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the SAP FS-PM module, strong understanding of insurance business processes (especially in Life and P&C), and a proven track record of designing robust, scalable functional solutions aligned with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  2. Create end-to-end functional designs for policy management, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  3. Own the FS-PM blueprint and solution architecture in alignment with SAP best practices and enterprise architecture.
  4. Develop custom solution designs leveraging FS-PM framework, business rules, and policy product modeling.
  5. Client Engagement & Advisory
  6. Collaborate with business stakeholders, underwriting, and product teams to gather and validate requirements.
  7. Advise clients on SAP FS-PM capabilities, constraints, and enhancements.
  8. Conduct functional workshops, prepare design documents, and present solutions to executive stakeholders.
  9. Lead FS-PM configuration activities (policy templates, product modeling, event-controlled processes, etc.).
  10. Drive integration design with FS-CD, FS-CM, FS-RI, and other SAP/Non-SAP modules.
  11. Perform defect triaging, root cause analysis, and functional resolution during testing phases.
  12. Support go-live and post-go-live hypercare activities.
  13. Documentation & Quality Assurance
  14. Prepare high-quality functional design documents (FDDs), interface specs, test cases, and user guides.
  15. Ensure adherence to documentation standards and SAP Activate/Agile methodologies.
  16. Perform peer reviews and contribute to solution assurance and QA processes.


Required Skills and Experience:

Core FSPM Expertise:

  1. 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FSPM.
  2. Strong understanding of policy lifecycle management and FSPM product architecture.
  3. Experience in modeling insurance products, policyholder data, and rule-based processing.
  4. SAP Ecosystem:
  5. Good knowledge of related SAP modules such as FS-CD (Collections & Disbursements), FS-CM (Claims), FS-RI (Reinsurance), and SAP BP.
  6. Integration experience with SAP S/4HANA and Web Services (SAP PI/PO, CPI).

Functional Design and Delivery:

  1. Proven experience delivering complex functional solutions and handling multiple FS-PM projects end-to-end.
  2. Ability to design solutions for new products or re-platforming/migration initiatives.

Business Acumen:

  1. In-depth knowledge of the insurance domain (Life, Health, or P&C).
  2. Ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders and align IT solutions with business goals.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  2. SAP FSPM certification (optional but preferred).
  3. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  4. Knowledge of Fiori, BRF+, and SAP Business Workflow is a plus.
