About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join the Client Reporting team, working with business-critical data flows and reporting solutions.

The organization is undergoing a major transformation—moving from legacy systems to a modern, scalable cloud-based data ecosystem on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The mission of the team is to make data accessible, reliable, and easy to consume, enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting next-generation applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and contribute to the technical roadmap for data and integration solutions
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions in a cloud environment
  • Build and modernize data pipelines, APIs, and data products
  • Bridge legacy systems with modern cloud-native architectures (GCP)
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications within the data ecosystem
  • Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment with technical standards, architecture, and best practices
  • Support and promote data quality, governance, and reliability


Required Skills & Experience

  • Several years of experience in software development and data engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and BigQuery
  • Experience with tools such as BigQuery, Dataform, Airflow, Pub/Sub, Docker
  • Strong understanding of modern data architectures (Data Warehouse, event-driven systems)
  • Experience with ETL processes and data modelling (e.g., dimensional modelling, Data Vault)
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and GitLab
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform

  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
  • Able to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Languages:  Swedish and English
