We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to lead the design and architecture of high-quality, scalable, and robust Pega-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of Pega experience, with a strong foundation in enterprise-grade application development and deep expertise in PRPC and associated frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the architecture and design of complex Pega applications ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices.
  2. Own and maintain the Enterprise Class Structure and overall application design architecture.
  3. Deliver one or more end-to-end implementations on Pega 7.x or higher.
  4. Conduct high-level and detailed design reviews, ensuring compliance with standards and alignment with business objectives.
  5. Prepare and own High-Level Design Documents (HLDs) and gather non-functional requirements.
  6. Provide technical estimations and inputs for project planning, sequencing, dependencies, and risk management.
  7. Guide development teams through best practices in design, coding, and application performance optimization.
  8. Formulate and disseminate best practices, design patterns, and coding standards across teams.
  9. Drive and monitor integration design using PRPC, including REST/SOAP Web Services, MQ, and other middleware tools.
  10. Perform code reviews and design validation with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  11. Mentor and support team members, enabling their growth and adherence to project goals.
  12. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders for project delivery and governance.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert in SmartBPM and Agile development methodologies.


Required Skills and Experience:

  1. LSA Certification (all modules completed) OR 3+ years in a Pega Architect role.
  2. Minimum 10+ years of total Pega experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC, frameworks, rules, and decision strategies.
  4. Deep understanding of Web Services Architecture – XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, and MQ series.
  5. Experience in integration design and implementation with external systems.
  6. Proven track record in application performance tuning and optimization.
  7. Strong experience with estimation techniques and project planning support.
  8. Excellent communication and team mentoring skills.
