Snowflake Data Modeler

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Modeler with strong expertise in data warehouse modeling, Snowflake, and core/silver layer data design for enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Silver Layer/Core Layer data models in Snowflake
• Translate business requirements into normalized and reusable data structures
• Work on 3NF/6NF data modeling, historization, and change tracking
• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and auditability
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams for efficient transformations
• Maintain data modeling standards, documentation, and best practices

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Data Modeling/Data Warehousing
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL
• Expertise in:
• Core Data Modeling
• Highly normalized models (3NF/6NF)
• Data integration from multiple source systems
• Historization & temporal data concepts
• Experience working in Agile/Jira environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Anchor Modeling
• Experience with Data Vault
• Familiarity with Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• Exposure to data governance, lineage, and metadata management
