QA Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned QA Consultant with strong expertise in Test Strategy, Planning, and Implementation for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will lead quality initiatives, establish best practices, and ensure end-to-end testing excellence across complex projects in an onsite client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with business and project goals.
2. Lead the design and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
4. Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools, methodologies, and metrics.
5. Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, automation coverage, and defect prevention.
6. Conduct reviews, track defects, and ensure timely issue resolution.
7. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to QA teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 9+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Testing, with proven leadership in test strategy and implementation.
2. Strong background in manual and automation testing, test design, and QA methodologies.
3. Experience in setting up and managing test environments and frameworks.
4. Hands-on expertise with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
6. Proven ability to work effectively in an onsite client-facing environment.

Nice to Have:

1. Exposure to Agile / DevOps / CI-CD practices.
2. Knowledge of performance or API testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Postman).
3. Experience in cloud-based testing environments (AWS / Azure).
